"Breakfast?" Kay just said which is a good sign for the patient in recovery. She is wiped out by the pain medication and we are both daunted by what lies ahead. She still has to jump through some hoops or at least walk up and down the hall before she will be able to go home. Today will be a big day for physical therapy.
A doc was in here before dawn (Wednesday) to cut away the big bandage so we could all admire the scar.
Kay has been cheered by the many messages of support. Thanks so much for that!

PS: I'm debating with myself about the propriety of putting the scar photo on the blog. I expect I'll lose my reserve as the day goes on.
